This beach sits next to the ruins of an old mansion, built in 1905 and now crumbling away. These are the "Folly Ruins" that the beach takes its name from. Set along the eastern outskirts of Port Antonio, Folly Ruins Beach stands out from other beaches because it's perfect for getting away from vacation stresses, like overly crowded restaurants and attractions. Near Port Antonio and out on a peninsula, this is a tan sand beach with trees for shade. It's far enough away from the urban area to feel a bit reclusive. Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline.
