Ackee House Description

Originally known as the botanical fruit Ankye which comes from the Twi language of Ghana, Ackee is widely eaten and celebrated as Jamaica’s National fruit. The Ackee house is named after this fruit and has an ackee tree right next to it. The house is painted bright yellow and red to illustrate the beauty in the fruits colourful nature. There are eight lavishly furnished rooms that are designed for tropical comfort. There are four full suites plus two rooms with an adjoining room that is great for families with children.
