Ackee House Description
Originally known as the botanical fruit Ankye which comes from the Twi language of Ghana, Ackee
is widely eaten and celebrated as Jamaica’s National fruit. The Ackee house is named after this
fruit and has an ackee tree right next to it. The house is painted bright yellow and red to
illustrate the beauty in the fruits colourful nature. There are four lavishly furnished
rooms that are designed for tropical comfort. There are four full suites with kitchinette, plus two rooms with an
adjoining room that are great for families with children.
Amenities include King sized bed, air conditioning, WIFI, cable TV, hot and cold water and private balcony.
